Plasma Foundation announced its mainnet beta launch scheduled for September 25, backed by $2 billion in pre-committed stablecoin liquidity. The rollout includes the debut of the XPL token, designed to secure the network and decentralize governance.
Over 100 DeFi partners—including Aave, Ethena, and Euler—will deploy the capital to establish DEEP liquidity pools and immediate utility. The chain is poised to enter the top 10 blockchains by stablecoin TVL upon launch.
Existing vault deposits will migrate to the new chain, enabling withdrawals of USD₮0, a native stable asset. The token generation event coincides with mainnet activation at 8:00 AM ET.
